My first name is Danielle and my middle name is Elizabeth. My mom smashed the 2 names together and has called me DaniellesaBeth most of my life.
I am an INFJ, blogger, design-enthusiast, and self-help addict.
I have 3 wonderful boys – one in junior high and twins in elementary school. I work in a hospital setting as a physician assistant where I am constantly reminded of how quickly life can change and how fragile it is. My husband and I met 17 years ago and currently live in the suburbs of Chicago. We have the house, minivan, busy schedule, and stress that most modern day families all try to manage.
When my boys were younger, I lived on autopilot. I made the same decisions, based on the same beliefs, and lived the same routine, day after day after day. Once I turned 40, I woke up and started to notice how short life is. I knew I needed to make a change. Life is not meant to be lived as a never-ending to-do list, checking off boxes as the days go on. It should be full of wonder and excitement, with large doses of humor and fun added in. Turning to meditation and mindfulness has helped me start to find the purpose and passion we are all looking for in our lives.
But getting off autopilot doesn’t happen easily. It is a life long journey that I share here on this blog. I talk about family, making special memories together, changing your thoughts, managing a busy schedule, and making your home a beautiful, organized living space that functions well for your family.
I hope you will find some inspiration and motivation at DaniellesaBeth – thank you for joining me!
